Theory of Ε ′ /ε

چکیده
I shortly review the present status of the theoretical estimates of ε/ε . I consider a few aspects of the theoretical calculations which may be relevant in understanding the present experimental results. I discuss the role of higher order chiral corrections and in general of non-factorizable contributions for the explanation of the ∆I = 1/2 selection rule in kaon decays and ε/ε . Lacking reliable lattice calculations, the 1/N expansion and phenomenological approaches may help in understanding correlations among theoretical effects and the experimental data. The same dynamics which underlies the CP conserving selection rule appears to drive ε/ε in the range of the recent experimental measurements.

Investigation of the Molecules Obtained from Marijuana: Computational Study of Spectral, Structural and Docking
There are many chemical molecules whose names are Cannabigerol (CBG), cannabidol (CBD), cannabichromene (CBC), tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), cannabigerovarinic acid (CBGV) and cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) derived from Marijuana. Theoretical methods were used to compare the chemical and biological activities of the six major molecules. Molecules were compared with their chemical activities using m...
متن کاملSubdivisions of Kr+2 in graphs of average degree at least r + ε and large but constant girth
We show that for every ε > 0 there exists an r0 = r0(ε) such that for all integers r ≥ r0 every graph of average degree at least r + ε and girth at least 1000 contains a subdivision of Kr+2. Combined with a result of Mader this implies that for every ε > 0 there exists an f(ε) such that for all r ≥ 2 every graph of average degree at least r + ε and girth at least f(ε) contains a subdivision of ...
متن کاملA “v2-f Based” Macroscopic K-Ε Model for Turbulent Flow through Porous Media
In this paper a new macroscopic k-ε model is developed and validated for turbulent flow through porous media for a wide range of porosities. The morphology of porous media is simulated by a periodic array of square cylinders. In the first step, calculations based on microscopic v2 − f model are conducted using a Galerkin/Least-Squares finite element formulation, employing equalorder bilinear ve...
متن کاملThe Symmetric Subset Problem in Continuous Ramsey Theory
A symmetric subset of the reals is one that remains invariant under some reflection x 7→ c − x. We consider, for any 0 < ε ≤ 1, the largest real number ∆(ε) such that every subset of [0, 1] with measure greater than ε contains a symmetric subset with measure ∆(ε). In this paper we establish upper and lower bounds for ∆(ε) of the same order of magnitude: for example, we prove that ∆(ε) = 2ε − 1 ...
